That's great! I love that the cat freezes in that pose when he see's the feather. And only moves when the feather is hidden. very fast reaction! it's almost instantaneous! Do you think if it was animated you would need to add more time for him to realize the feather is there then stop?

good question. I once had an anim lead point out that cats tend to be in an anticpation pose in general, so they can hold up to quick action. I suppose it depends on how naturalistic the animation is, what the design of the cat rig is guess would be in how the cat tracks the feather and whether that anticpation moment would need to be exaggerated for the action to be clear. The exaggeration could be in a stronger pose or in more time, or a little of both.
